About Me

I am a educational technology geek and fitness enthusiast whose goals is to combine the two with as few typos as possible.   I typically fail on the typos... but I am trying.  My website is, as always in a state of flux and I would have it no other way because to me it means that I am constantly pursuing my believes in education and fitness.  Constantly moving, constantly changing, constantly growing.  I'd have it no other way.

My life focus rests in Instructional Design and Technology (IDT), health and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).  I have earned a Computer Science Bachelor Degree and am in the process of completing a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at CSU Fresno and with a possible Ed D down the road.  I enjoy teaching very, very much and often find myself seeking positions, hobbies or activities that involve teaching or coaching.

I am also very interested in social networking for the greater good of mankind, so to speak.  Teachers, coaches, community groups and individuals who love education and healthy lifestyles are the types of people that I would like to network with, share ideas with and struggle with to met the endless needs of children, students, teachers and community groups.

Contact me if you need help with your educational and fitness goals.  If I can help.  I will.  If I can't, maybe I know someone who can.  Together we can try and together we can.

Students all over the nation today are protesting increases in tuition, reduced class offerings, furloughs and more.   At CSU Fresno, students marched from Shaw Avenue to campus chanting and carrying posters and the like.  The event was tame and offered the gathering of peace officers little to do.

Laptops Spying on Students - Lynn Matsko

Spying on students through the use of webcameras on laptop isn't how computers and technology should be used in the classroom or homes of students.  I'm greatly dismayed by the allegded act of Vice Principal Lynn Matsko.  I hope that in the end the students don't lose faith in their teachers, their district or technology.  What a horrible alledged misstep by an educator.

Every Teacher Fired

Every Teacher Fired?  The first wave of school closings are occurring even now as President Obama is pressing for the closure or cronically poor performing.  One of the first school in the nation has now fired its educators and has closed its doors.
