"I'm Bulldog Born, Bulldog Bred and I'm going to be a Bulldog until the day I'm Dead."
~ Former Fresno State Head Football Coach Jim Sweeney
I am a Rotarian of North Fresno Rotary Club 635, District 5230, Zone 26 27, and Rotary International.

Here to Help
I'm a Bay Area kid from the 1990s who moved to Fresno in the 2000s and joined the Bulldog Family. I've been on campus for over 20 years as a student, student employee, volunteer, and California State University Employees Union Steward and organizing chair.
I have a passion for service projects; both locally and international.
I have been a member of North Fresno Rotary since 2012-13 and have been allowed to serve in various committees and projects.
I've earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, a B.S. in Computer Science, and hundreds of hours (rapidly approaching 1,000 hours) of online learning.
I'm here to help.

Course Description
Digital Skills for the 21st Century is a course focused on the impact of digital technology on today's businesses, the economy, and society. Rapid advances in technologies are creating benefits and efficiencies for those businesses that recognize their advantages and pitfalls, and harness them to their advantage; those who can't are left behind with competitive disadvantages. today's workforce needs to understand these trends, recognize key differences among features and approaches of these technologies, and apply them effectively. Specific topics in this course include cloud computing, unified communication platforms, cyber security, social media, and mobile computing.
One of the things I love about tech and teaching is the constant new tools to promote community service projects and organizations.
University of Phoenix (UOP) is one of these types of organizations. UOP is a member of the new generation of for profit schools and online education pioneers.
I've been teaching at UOP for nearly 10 years and seen massive improvements and changes. No organization is perfect. This is obvious but UOP has faced its challenges and problems and changed. Improved. This is not true of all businesses, organizations, or leaders. UOP is consistingly improving. It's awesome to be part of UOP.
At the Fresno Campus, I'm lucky to collaborate with a team that strives to improve themselves, their students, our campus, and UOP.
An IT steering committee is a committee of senior executives to direct, review, and approve IT strategic plans, oversee major initiatives, and allocate resources. It is not involved in day-to-day management of the IT organization. Rather, the steering committee establishes IT priorities for the business as a whole.
I service on Rotary District 5230's Leadership Committee and as their Webmaster.
As the Director of Technology and Webmaster for Rotary International, Zone 26/27, District 5230; I just added the leadership's Vision Statement at Rotary District 5230's website.
