February, 28, 2020: I have known Peter since he joined North Fresno Rotary in 2012. Since the beginning of Peter’s membership we have worked on numerous projects and boards together as fellow Rotarians. During my year as President of North Fresno Rotary, we worked together on many projects.
Peter’s commitment to International Rotary matches the Rotarian motto of service above self. He has been an eager participant in many areas of Rotary. Specific projects Peter has either developed or updated for Rotary are the club member information on the district 5230 database; creation of communication platforms for an updated and expanded weekly bulletin, program information and presenters ; transition of club data to cloud platforms to increase collaboration among the different committees and individuals; and increased club presence on social media platforms. In addition, Peter‘s technical skills increased our ability to tap into potential programs, grants and opportunities for our community involvement projects. His management of our online platforms has allowed North Fresno Rotary to increase membership through these avenues. He has served as historian for each Avenue of Service and managed club Bulletins. Through his photography and videography and utilizing his media skills have allowed the club greater opportunities for outreach through videos and photography.
